Festivus for the rest of us!

To follow my blog, click "FOLLOW" at the top left hand side of this page. :-)

After blogging recently about upcoming holidays I realised I had left out another very important holiday.

                    FESTIVUS!

Festivus card with "The Thinker"

Taking place annually on December 23rd, Festivus is a non-denominational holiday.

The celebration of Festivus is serious to some, tongue-in-cheek to others. The holiday traditions include the "Festivus pole" - an undecorated aluminum pole, the "Airing of Grievances" when everyone details the ways in which the other people at the celebration have disappointed them during the past year, and the "Feats of Strength" following the Festivus dinner in which the head of the household selects someone and wrestles with them. The wrestling match continues until the head of the household has been pinned. In addition, ordinary events may be ironically labeled as "Festivus miracles."

As well as the cards that you see here being available for purchase I have more products such as mugs, T-shirts and more cards for Festivus available from my Golden Jackal online store here.

Airing your grievances with family and friends (and enemies and acquaintances) at Festivus couldn't be easier, even when they're far away. With many humorous Festivus cards that will tickle their funny bones. Send a smile and have a chance to vent your hostility at the same time - that's the spirit of Festivus!

All cards shown plus many more are available in my stores at:
